Description
Rivière is sitting in lunging position in front of easel, palette in hand, painting on canvas. Canvas content is not visible to viewer. Several animal furs line floor, couch, and table. Large tapestry hangs on left-hand wall. Framed picture hangs on right-hand wall with animal skeleton, perhaps of a wolf or dog, on dresser underneath painting.
