Description
The artist is seated at a table with etching tools, his head resting on his right hand, before a large, unframed portrait of a man wearing religious robes; to the right is another unframed portrait of a man that is propped against elaborate, carved shelving filled with metal and ceramic vessels. On the wall behind the artist hang a number of framed prints and a landscape painting.
